RACERS RUMBLE IV RULES

SUPER LATE MODELS (Class 1)
Full Safety Rules enforced. Minimum weight before start of feature is 2700 lbs. Any 10” Hoosier, Good Year or McReary racing tire O.K. 10” wide max steel or aluminum wheels. Full front windshield and full stock appearing rear window mandatory. All windshield and rear window contours will be flat or convex. Height of roof measured back 10” back from top of windshield, 45” minimum with no more than 2” drop. Minimum roof dimensions, 45” wide x 38” long. Top of windshield or front edge of roof to base of rear spoiler 102” maximum. Top of spoiler to ground 40” maximum. Spoiler size 6” x 72” maximum and flat only. Maximum of 3 spoiler supports. Rear deck length 28” maximum, measured from base of the spoiler to the edge of the back window. Mandatory pressure relief area panel mounted completely vertical at the rear of the quarter panel. This panel will measure 14” down from the rear deck, and have a 1” horizontal lip at the bottom for strength. Bottom of rear bumper to the ground will be 12” maximum. Quarter panel rear overhang from centerline of rear axle 46” maximum. Width at rear 72” maximum. Body width – maximum of 82” over center of front tires, maximum of 76” over the center of rear axle. No body ledges over 4” maximum. No lips or verticals anywhere on body. Engine set back not to exceed 4 inches from top ball joint.

LATE MODELS, LIMITED LATE MODELS  (Class 2)
Full Safety Rules enforced * 2700 lbs. Aluminum heads O.K. Wheels - 8" wide max, steel or aluminum. Mufflers mandatory. Right front spark plug in line with center of the ball joint - 4" tolerance * Tires - any 8" Good Year, Hoosier, McReary treaded tire, or Hoosier 980’s or 970’s. Body Rules - Max nose overhang - 43", rear quarter overhang - 48", max body width - 82" over the tires, 72" measured at the rear spoiler, Spoiler to be 6" of material, and 72" wide - 40" max. Verticals - max distance off the ground - 40" * Tops must be run. No mirrors, no wings. Radio’s O.K. Officials Decisions are final - weight penalties may be added for rules infractions. 5” coil’s No coil-overs or dry sump engines.

FACTORY STOCK, PRO STOCK, SPORT STOCK, PRO STOCKS (Class 3)
Full Safety rules enforced. 3200 lbs. Any 8” treaded tire and 8” wheel, D.O.T. street legal tires 70, 75 or 78 series. Headers O.K. Mufflers mandatory, No aluminum heads, Automatic transmission or manual transmission, No made for racing transmission. Cars must be stock appearing. No Late Model look a likes. 6” spoiler. Spoiler no wider than rear quarters. Template bodies allowed. Tubular upper A frames allowed stock lower control arms. Springs must be in stock location.

MINI STOCKS (Class 4)
Full Safety rules enforced. 2300 lbs. Any 13” or 14” treaded McReary, Hoosier or Good Year or 70, 75 or 78 series tore D.O.T. approved. No recaps. Wheels not to exceed 8”. 1” lug nuts. Tube chassis’s O.K. with tubular uppers and lower control arms allowed. Rear ends must be stock and may be welded. Mufflers Mandatory. Maximum engine set back 5” from front of engine block. Maximum 4 cylinder, 8 valve. No performance engines such as quad four or Probe Multi-Valve. No turbo or Super Charged Any 2 barrel carb.

STREET STOCKS, BOMBERS, PURE STOCKS (Class 5)
Full Safety rules enforced. Any 8” or 7” McReary, Hoosier or Good Year or any 70 series or 75 series radial tire. Engines MUST BE STOCK. NO ENGINE MODIFIACTIONS WHAT SO EVER. Motors to stay stock. No roller rockers or roller tips. Stock cast iron exhaust manifold. A 2 1/2" exhaust diameter. Mufflers mandatory. One two barrel or one four barrel quadrajet or Holley carburetor O.K. No dual feed or double pumpers allowed. Engine must be in stock location with no modifications of mounts. Stock mounts. Automatic transmission only. Must have working torque converter. Minimum 12". All suspension front and rear must remain stock. No cutting/chopping of springs. Springs must have stock pig tails. No spacer plates or adjustments of any kind.

PONY STOCKS, 4 CYL. FRONT WHEEL DRIVE (CLASS 6)
      Cars must be front wheel drive 4 Cylinder engines. No convertibles, trucks or two
      seat coupes. No turbo, Multi carburetor, rotary, mid or rear engine or engines with
      more than 8 valves. Factory stock fuel injection allowed. No adjustable shocks or
      struts. Must have full windshield. No mirrors. Battery relocation is O.K. Steel
      wheels
      only.Maximum width of wheel is 6”. Any D.O.T. stamped tire. Max width P195,
      minimum 70 series (no 65,60, etc.series). All four tires must be same rim and
      width size. Minimum weight of 2350 lbs. with driver before race. All cars must run
      mufflers.

USA MODIFIEDS (CLASS 7)
Full safety rules enforced. Rules based on standards set by the USA Modified.

MICHIGAN LEGENDS (CLASS 8)  
Full Safety rules enforced. Rules based on standards set by the Michigan Legends Assoc.
